Localls provides custom NT2 (Dutch as a Second Language) solutions for both individuals and businesses. From language coaching and training to personal guidance with work, study and everyday communication — Localls helps newcomers in the Netherlands get started.
Fusey developed a fully custom platform with Laravel and Livewire. The website is more than a brochure: it is an interactive platform with personalised programmes, impact stories and a clear separation between private and business audiences. Real-time interactions are built with Livewire and Alpine.js, making the user experience fast and fluid.
The platform conveys the human story of Localls through impact stories — such as the story of George, a Syrian refugee who found employment at partner Willemsen de Koning through Localls. Technically strong, humanly warm.
The challenge
Localls needed a platform that could convey their unique approach to language education. The target audience is diverse: individuals (often newcomers and refugees) and businesses that want to support their non-native-speaking employees. A standard WordPress template would not do justice to the personal character of their services. Additionally, the platform had to distinguish between the two audiences with separate programmes and content.
Our solution
We delivered a custom-built Laravel platform with Livewire for dynamic interactions. The site is structured with two clear paths: one for individuals and one for businesses, each with their own content and call-to-actions. Impact stories are visually integrated with scroll animations via Intersection Observer. The progress indicator and fade-in animations create a modern, engaging user experience. The site is fully optimised for speed with WebP images and lazy loading.
The result
A professional platform that showcases the human impact of Localls. The clear separation between private and business audiences has led to more targeted enquiries. Partners such as InnerAktie and Willemsen de Koning are prominently featured, strengthening trust with new business clients. The PageSpeed score is 90+ thanks to the technical optimisations.
