Portfolio website for professional make-up artist
An elegant portfolio website for a make-up artist who works with brands like Chanel, Calvin Klein and G-Star, and publishes in Vogue, Harper's Bazaar and Linda.
Nur Ozkan is a versatile hair and make-up artist known for her work across beauty, fashion, editorial and commercial projects. Based in the Netherlands, she works for leading brands and her work appears in publications such as Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, Linda, Libelle and L'Officiel.
Fusey built a minimalist portfolio website that puts Nur's work front and centre. The design is deliberately understated: an elegant handwritten logo, a sleek black-and-white colour palette and plenty of white space. The focus is entirely on the portfolio, the about page with her impressive client list, and the make-up lessons she offers.
The client list speaks for itself: campaigns for Marc Jacobs, Marie Stella Maris, BOL, ASICS, Rituals and Samsung. E-commerce for G-Star, Chanel, Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein and H&M. This is a website that radiates confidence, just like Nur's work itself.
The challenge
Nur Ozkan needed an online platform that reflects her level as a make-up artist. With a client list including top brands like Chanel, Calvin Klein and G-Star, and publications in Vogue and Harper's Bazaar, the website had to exude the same class and refinement. At the same time, the portfolio had to be easy to update and the make-up lessons clearly presented as a service. The challenge: a site that doesn't distract from the work, but enhances it.
Our solution
We delivered a minimalist WordPress website with the Divi theme, fully aligned with Nur's brand. The handwritten logo serves as a visual anchor and gives the site a personal, artistic feel. The colour palette is limited to black and white, ensuring the portfolio work gets all the attention. The about page is strategically structured: a professional portrait photo, a concise biography and a structured client list divided into publications, campaigns, e-commerce and podcasts. The make-up lessons page provides a clear overview of the lesson offerings.
The result
A website that does justice to the level and reputation of Nur Ozkan. The minimalist design lets the work speak for itself and the structured client list immediately builds credibility with potential clients. The site functions as a professional digital portfolio that Nur shares with brands, photographers and agencies. The make-up lessons attract a new audience eager to learn from her expertise.
